Who We Help

The fund was established with the ultimate goal of keeping Brian’s memory alive through helping others. Our mission is to raise funds to facilitate donations to various charities and organizations, to assist firefighters and/or families of firefighters in times of great tragedy, and a scholarship fund to Brian’s alma mater, Brother Rice High School.

To date, the fund has been able to…

  • Award its first scholarship for academic excellence, valued at $6000, (4 year/$1500.00 per year)
  • Contributed $1500 to a local fundraiser for a 3 year old boy with a rare genetic disorder, metachromatic leukodystrophy, which is both incurable and untreatable
  • Presented $500 donation to “Friday for Julie” in memory of 13 year old Julianne Doody who was taken by an aggressive form of cancer
  • Delivered several $500 donations to firefighters/families of firefighters who faced devastating tragedy
  • Donated a set of structural firefighting gear to Phoenix Illinois Fire Department, a $1500 value.
